About the Choir Jim Watson and the late Lana Pelletier was inspired to assemble a group of people sharing a love of singing and sense of community, and in 1996, formed the North Grenville Concert Choir. Since then, the NGCC has endeavoured to maintain these values and Lana's dreams. The first performance was held in December 1997 performing Handel's Messiah. Other musical elements have been slowly added to the repertoire including Bach's Magnificat and Masses by Mozart and Vierne. Also popular are the musicals, including several Gilvert and Sullivan operettas and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". (see Past Performances).

The NGCC is based in the Municipality of North Grenville, Ontario, Canada. Practices usually occur on Monday nights, with the Sept.-Dec. period devoted to practicing for a Christmas concert, and the Jan.-Apr. period reserved for the practice of a spring/early summer production.
